Honduras Orphans
Alvin Anderson started as a missionary in Honduras about 25 years ago taking orphans in off the street. He has raised many many kids in his home that came from very abusive homes. Many of these kids were from drug addicted parents and or prostitutes who just abandoned their kids to the streets. Alvin not only has raised and nourished these kids but has provided a trade school wear they go through a graduation program to sew and learn how to make a life for themselves outside of the orphanage

YWAM Tyler
YWAM or Youth With a Mission was started in 1960 by Loren Cunningham. The idea started when Loren was in his 20's in the Bahamas and had a vision of waves passing over the world. He saw this as God telling him that he should start a missionary organization where he would send out young people to the mission field after highschool on short and long term mission to spread the gospel of Jesus.
