This is one of the best showcases of Eastlake Bracketed Victorian Architecture left in East Texas. You can come for a guided tour that will take you through Tyler’s political and cultural history from post-Civil War. This is the birthplace of historical Washington D.C. news correspondent, Sarah McClendon. This home is also available for weddings and parties. A tour is only available by appointment. Caldwell Zoo has more than 2000 animals from 250 species from Africa, North and South America live in natural habitats at the 85-acre park.
